My little brother is not so little anymore
I haven’t had any luck finding anyone who can watch my cat in LA. We’ll be staying with David’s parents (to save some money) but David’s mom is extremely allergic. Plus, it would be a little chaotic anyway since there’s going to be 5 dogs there.
Originally, my mom had really wanted to keep the cat while we were in Boston but my brother threw a fit. He said he was going to leave, that he hated that cat, and that he’s not going to get sleep etc. Okay, I get it. Don’t need to be a jerk about it.
Anyway, I asked him if he would at least mind the cat being there during the summer. I’m coming back up to the bay area in August for a friend’s wedding and would take the cat back with me then. I said it would help out a lot. He never responded, but apparently complained to my mom about it and that he is probably just better off leaving than living there.
Sometimes I want to say, “Hey, I’ve NEVER asked you for anything. In fact, I’m the one usually giving you everything, from money to letting you crash at our place - heck, I even got you a 2DS for Christmas and . I ask you to do one thing, and you act like it’s the biggest deal in the world.”
But I don’t because I’m not that kind of person.
It’s just annoying that he apparently throws all these fits but doesn’t have the guts to say how he feels to my face.
